It’s often said that pictures speak louder than words. Sometimes it can be difficult to explain exactly what it is we do when building a post frame structure. Although our pole barns and projects are complex in process, the simplicity of what we accomplish is better left to pictures.

This completed project is an outdoor commercial building. Many times customers will contact us when they need an indoor structure in a remote location. This building allows the client to work in closer proximity to their job site and oversee all operations in person and in a climate-controlled environment.
The picture above showcases the initial stages of a pole barn. What defines a post-frame structure is that it’s engineered with large wood or laminated posts or columns in place of steel or concrete. Creating a sturdy foundation is essential in building post frame structures, and we at MilMar specialize in professional craftsmanship that stands the test of time.
Notice the exterior wood frames secured in the ground. Because they require fewer materials, post frame structures are often less expensive.
